Online Learning Resources
- Seven Blind Women You Should Know About for Women's History Month—Last spring, as parents and teachers were confronting uniquely challenging circumstances due to COVID-19 school closures, we shared some accessible online resources that honor 7 blind women whose lives span from 1829 to 1985, and whose histories have been largely forgotten.
- Helen Keller Lesson Plans—Using the rich trove of information contained in the digital Helen Keller Archive, the American Foundation for the Blind has created lesson plans that guide students in using digital archival collections while discovering Keller’s work as a leading author, activist, and advocate.
- EDSITEment, a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Trust for the Humanities, offers free resources for teachers, students, and parents searching for high-quality K-12 humanities education materials for women's history month. AFB is honored that the Helen Keller Archive: Access For All is now featured on their site as a resource.
