Pam, a smiling woman with short, platinum blonde hair, sits on building steps with her guide dog. Pam joined AFB in September 2024 as Chief Development Officer. Pam brings over 20 years of experience in development and achievements in the nonprofit sector, most recently as Director of Development & Communications at Overbrook School for the Blind. In addition, she serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Blind Sports Organization and a Graduate Council Member for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Pam is a four-time Paralympian in track and field, winning the gold medal in the 3,000M run at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. A lifetime member of the United States Association of Blind Athletes, Pam was inducted into the USABA Hall of Fame in 2013. She holds a master’s degree in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
