OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT
WASHINGTON
[End of Letterhead]

December 2, 1954

Dear Mr. Fisher:

Upon my return from a brief vacation, I found your letter of November 18 upon my desk.

It was most gratifying to be asked to send Miss Helen Keller a letter to wish her well upon her forthcoming journey. I am very happy to be able to express my sincere admiration and respect for someone who has done so much in her lifetime not only in aiding the physically handicapped but also in serving as an inspiration to all who meet her or know of her. I enclose my letter to be presented at her testimonial dinner on December 15.

With kindest regards,

Sincerely,

Richard Nixon
